Due to the nature of our business at BASE IT we have an extensive range of multi-vendor server, IT storage and networking parts. This enables us to distribute parts at short notice to customers worldwide providing an instant part replacement service.

The benefit for many customers today is having the facility to obtain an IT spares only maintenance support service which provides an easy and cost effective way to self-maintain IT systems. Customers have stated that they have a degree of internal technical resources available to implement a hot swap of a hard drive, but they require a reputable company to supply parts for post warranty or end of life systems that have been tested and come with a replacement warranty.

Base IT has been supplying this level of cost containment service for a number of years successfully and continue to supply customers with parts for multi-vendor environments. Our hardware spares support service seamlessly integrates and benefits customers who have decided to opt for an interim period to self-maintain their IT systems.

Asset residual value for multi-vendor hardware

Our unique ARV service could provide you with the potential to tailor a cost neutral maintenance agreement for multi-vendor hardware that is now either post warranty, End of Life or End of Service Life (EOL / EOSL). Our service enables customers with IT hardware in various  stages of a lifecycle program to place extended maintenance support, irrespective whether 3,6,9 or even 12 months of support is required, effectively creating a cost neutral solution.

We enable a cost neutral maintenance solution to be delivered through the residual value in your IT  hardware that we would remove at the end of the agreed maintenance support term. Services for secure decommissioning and data erasure in line with internal compliance requirements will also form part of the hardware lifecycle services program discussion. 

If you have no requirement for a support service, our ARV service can still benefit you. We can provide you with a residual value quotation for your IT server and storage hardware and discuss the decommissioning and data erasure process, enabling you to obtain a far greater return on your initial capital investment. There is no obligation in obtaining an ARV quotation, but it allows you to explore if this service could be viable and beneficial for you.
