IT hardware buyback process
ACCOUNT MANAGED
Initial enquires will be dealt with by one of our experienced account managers and your requirements assessed. A detailed asset will be required and should include model / part numbers and, if available, serial numbers of the assets from your internal systems. Alternatively, we can provide an on-site audit, site survey and Risk Assessment Method Statement (RAMS) documented service.
VALUATION
Your IT hardware assets will be valued taking into consideration product type, condition, current global market trends available. This is also the time we discuss data erasure requirements. Establishing, if you are performing your own data erasure / destruction or you would prefer BASE IT to provide these services.
PROPOSAL
A formal proposal of purchase will be drafted which will include any of our other required services, decommissioning, data erasure, shredding of hard drives on / off-site along with secure packing and transportation.
ACCEPTANCE
On acceptance of our proposal, a purchase order will be raised for invoicing. Alternatively, we can raise a credit on your account to be utilised against any of our other IT services or products.
Redundant IT hardware
COLLECTION
Collection will be arranged adhering to any specific security and compliance requirements of each site. We use dedicated fully insured GPS tracked vehicles of various sizes.
AUDITED
On arrival at one of our secure facilities the assets will be audited and cross referenced. In the unlikely event of any discrepancies we will notify you immediately with the details of the irregularities.
TESTED
Assets are fully tested by our engineers and any major faults will be logged. A detailed report is produced for you to assess.
INVOICE PROCESSED
We provide flexible invoice payments which are evaluated on a set criteria for each customer. This can allow us to give you upfront payment for your IT hardware.
